Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City arrival
You will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to the city and to your hotel. The room is at your disposal from 2.00pm. The balance of day is free at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
The morning is devoted to discover the culinary delights of Ho Chi Minh City. The cooking class begins with a stroll to the market to select your ingredients. Going to the market is also a good chance for you to experience the daily life of the Vietnamese people. After that you will learn to cook some local dishes with the assistance of the chef. Lunch will give you the opportunity to taste what you have just made and to sample additional dishes prepared by the cooks. In the afternoon, visit some of the historic sites of the city: including Cho Lon and Thien Hau Pagoda, the former Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
This morning we will depart by private vehicle to Cai Be, where you will board a private local boat to the Mekong Delta of Vinh Long. Discover the charm of the Mekong River as you explore the quaint byways and Cai Be Floating Market, and be sure to sample fresh-picked exotic fruits from the many orchards. On the way, stop off for lunch in a local orchid garden. In the afternoon, continue the cruise to Vinh Long and then transfer to Can Tho by road. Check in hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4 - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City - Hue (B)
Early transfer to Ninh Kieu Quay where you will board the Mystic Mekong (Non-private) for a cruise to the lively, colourful floating markets of Cai Rang. On the way, the crew will serve breakfast. You will be surprised by the huge variety of products sold at the market, from the well-known fruits like mangos and bananas, to the most exotic ones like mangosteens, star apples, or the sweetened longans and the very odorous durians. Once satisfied with the fruity flavours of the market, you will then enter the labyrinth of the channels and streams surrounding Can Tho, and from your boat observe daily life on the river. You will disembark at around 10.30 and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for a short flight to Hue. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. Meals on your own. Night at the hotel.

 

Day 5 - Hue (B, L)
In the morning you will be taken to a typical garden house restaurant to discover the culinary art of Hue. Accompanied by a chef and his assistants, we’d like to invite you to make some traditional dishes. The class will take approximately 1.5 hours. At lunch you will have the chance to taste what you have created and to sample additional dishes prepared by the chef. After lunch, you visit the Imperial City and the old city of Hue. Dinner on your own. Night at the hotel.

 

Day 6 - Hue - Hoi An (B)
In the morning, transfer to the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. After visiting the pagoda, board a traditional sampan for a cruise up the placid river to the Tomb of Nguyen Dynasty Emperor Minh Mang. Afterwards depart for Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van Pass to view one of the most beautiful panoramas in Vietnam as you look out over the central coastline. You will also stop at the quiet, white sandy beach of Lang Co. We will arrive in Hoi An late in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7 - Tra Que vegetable village - Hoi An Ancient Town (B,L)
In the morning, we will take a leisurely bike ride to visit the village of Tra Que (located 3 miles or 20 minutes from Hoi An). Tra Que Village is known for its special aromatic herbs. You will learn how to plant and water vegetables and then to cook some local specialities, for example “Tam Huu”, shrimps, pork and aromatic herb. After lunch take a stroll to visit Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. Set out to explore the quaint cobblestone streets of the town with more than two-century-old Chinese houses. Sites include the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and Phung Hung Chinese-trading house. You have some free time after your tour to explore on your own. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 8 - Hoi An - Hanoi (B)
In the morning, take a boat trip to Cua Dai (approximately 30 minutes). Upon arrival, you can join the daily activities of the local fishermen. Afterwards, take a coracle (round basket boat) for a tour to the mangrove forest of coconut trees. Disembark at around 10 am and spend the rest of exploring the town. Meet up with your guide again for a transfer to Danang Airport and then take a brief flight to Hanoi. Here you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 9 - Hanoi (B,L)
Start with a walking tour of a local market and then we will take you to a local house where you will learn to cook some traditional dishes of Vietnam as well as learning more about daily life of the locals. During lunch you will taste what you have made and also enjoy some additional dishes prepared by the hostess. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature also known as First University of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays). Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10 - Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Leave Hanoi this morning and head straight to Halong bay a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin (180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving). After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Overnight on board.

 

Day 11 - Halong Bay - Hanoi (B)
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy aquamarine water of the bay at its best. After tea break, the boat continue to cruise quietly through spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated bay’s spectacular and unique islands of the bay. Return to Halong harbour after a brunch for a transfer back to Hanoi. On the way, make a stop to enjoy the charm and the enigmatic soul of a pottery village, forming the destination of Phu Lang. This enchanting and unusual experience will reveal such a fascinating Vietnam, so out of modern times. Wander the paved streets along Cau river and perhaps practice your hand at pottery, or visit the handicraft workshops of avant-garde artists as well as meet families whose know how is still passed on from generation to generation… Meals on your own. Day 12 - Depart Hanoi (B)

1. What should I do if I want to book a tour but cannot pay immediately?

When watching tour on the websites, if you want to book a tour but cannot pay immediately, you can definitely book that tour in advance. We would record the tour on our system. Then we will contact you via email to discuss payment issues. And you need to pay in advance 30% of the invoice value to ensure that you will use our service.

2. How do I know that my booking is confirmed?

After you have booked our tour, there will be an automatic email sent to your email which you used to book your tour. It is a confirmation of our company to notify that the booking process have been successfully stored. Within 2 working days, our representative will make a conversation with you via email or telephone call. The itinerary along with detailed information about your tour will be specified during this process.

3. What if I have special requirements for the tour?

In our online booking form, there would be a blank box which is offered to the visitor, who has special needs. It so called Special Requirements. By filling this blank, you will be ensured that our company would try our best to make you the most comfortable days without worrying anything.

4. The manner and method of payment?

10. Can I make a reservation for my friends or my family members?

Yes, you can. If you are a person who pays for and participates in the tour, you won’t need to worry about this. In case you want to make a reservation for your friends or family members, you should follow our instruction. In other words, this means you pay for it but you don’t come along with the tour. In that case, we offer you a blank space which is “Customer information”. That is the name of a person who pays for the tour. Right below that space, there is “How can we contact you in Vietnam”. Please fill in the blank with any person that you intend to book a tour for.
After completing the payment procedure online, you will receive an email in which a form is attached. Then, you fill in the form with the personal information of your friends or family members. After that, we can acknowledge all the necessary information.
