Day 1 - Siem Reap arrival - Rolous Temple
Arrive and be met at Siem Reap airport. Check in at the hotel (rooms available from 13.30). In the afternoon, about half an hour from Siem Reap, discover one of the most ancient sites of the region: the Roluos group. Begin your visit with the impressive Bakong, a 9th century temple, then Preah Ko and Lolei which today houses a small monastery. This is an ideal introduction to Angkor because it allows you to understand how the Khmer city was structured. Take a bicycle ride around Bakong and the surrounding countryside. Return to the hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel. Note: A short stop is necessary to hand in your entry passes (an identity photo is required and is taken free of charge on site). Advice: For visits to Angkor, wear good comfortable shoes and a hat.

 

Day 2 - Angkor Wat - Banteay Sreay - Ta Prohm (B)
Meet your guide at your hotel reception then leave to discover the marvellous temple of Angkor Wat, a world heritage site with soaring towers and extraordinary bas reliefs. It is one of the most amazing monuments ever conceived by man, erected in the 12th century (1112-1152) in honour of Vishnu. In the afternoon, leave for Banteay Srei where a most impressive jewel of Khmer art exists. Erected in the 10th century, this small pink sandstone temple known as the Citadel of Women maintains some remarkable sculptured lintels in very good condition. André Malraux made this temple famous in 1923 when he returned some Apsara heads having previously removed them. On the way back, visit the ancient Ta Prohm monastery where immense branches have taken root in the stones. Beyond this impressive vegetation you will find some splendid sculptured Devatas and an atmosphere that is unique and completely befitting this temple and those built during the reign of Jayavarman VII in general. Day 3 - Preah Khan - Neak Pean - Thommanon - Chau Say Tevoda - Angkor Thom (B)
In the morning leave for the northern end of Angkor, beginning the day with Preah Khan temple, built by Jayavarman VII in 1191 in honour of his father who is represented as the saving god of Mahayan Buddhism. This monument was both a city and a place for Buddhism studies. Of the same era is Neak Pean, the only island temple of Angkor, and also known as Entwined Nagas. Continue your exploration of Angkor by heading further south to see the two very beautiful temples – Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda – dating from the 12th century and built during the reign of Suryavarman II. They stand out because of their very beautiful sculptured images honouring Shiva and Vishnu. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) beginning by the south gate and the famous Bayon of the 12th and 13th centuries, dedicated to Buddhism and composed of 54 gigantic towers featuring 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Then, visit the Elephant Terrace, 350m long, used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; and the raised Leper King Terrace, built in the 12th century and which features many beautifully sculptured Apsaras. Day 4 - Siem Reap - Sihanoukville (B)
Free morning to explore crowded Pub Street or Old Central Market of Siem Reap until your transfer to airport for the flight to Sihanoukville. Flight K6 131 REP – KOS (15.30 – 16.30). Welcome by local driver and transfer to your hotel for check in. The remainder of day is free at leisure to explore the beach and the town. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 5 - A day cruise to Koh Rung Samloem Island (B,L)
Transfer by private vehicle to the pier at Victory beach and boarding a wooden board then get ready for your cruise (joint-in cruise). The Bay of Cambodia has integrated the most beautiful bay in the world in 2011. Koh Rong Samlem is one of the dozen secluded islands situated in this bay and also one of the most beautiful islands. With its untouched long line white sand beach, Koh Rong Samlem is a paradise from the crowd. The cruise pass by many islands which are still uninhabited. Snorkeling is the best way to discover the well protected rich marine life. Lunch is served on board. Back to mainland at around 16.30pm. The evening is free at leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel. Remark: The boat cruise is non-private and a joint-in excursion.

 

Day 6 - Sihanoukville Free Day (B)
The day is free for your own activities. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7 - Sihanoukville - Kampot (B)
Meet with your local guide this morning and depart Sihanoukville to Kampot - a small city located along the river bank and features by colonial building from the former French period. The province has mixed of plain and hilly area, covering with rice field, salt field and other agricultural plantations as durian, mangoosteen, rambutan, pepper… After 2hours driving, arriving at the charming town of Kampot. Take a leisure bike ride to discover the lush countryside close to Kampot city (around 12-15km cycling). Kampot pepper is well known since the French protectorate and is now one of the world’s most highly prized spices. In the afternoon, driving to visit a pepper plantation with the farmers and to see the sole processor of the raw product. This is a great chance which you can learn about the different procedures to get Kampot pepper. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 8 - Surrounding of Kampot - Kep (B)
This morning we will explore the Kampong Bay River of Kampot by taking a half day boat tour upstream the river. There will be chance to enjoy a 30 minute leisure riding by ox cart, taking a bike riding as well as walking in the rural area. This activity is a peaceful way to discover the life all along the river with beautiful landscape which is changing seasonally. Picnic lunch will be served. In the late afternoon, transfer to Kep (25km - 30mins driving) a nearby peacful town for overnight. Dinner on your own.

 

Day 9 - A day cruise to Rabbit Island (B,L)
Located just 5km of the Kep coast and is still an undeveloped island, Rabbit Island is a relaxing gem of a getaway off Cambodia’s coast. After breakfast, take a speed boat to the island where you could laying on the beach and do some swimming. A packed lunch will be prepared. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon by speed boat. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10 - Kep - Phnom Penh Sightseeing (B)
We leave Kep this morning for Phnom Penh driving on a beautiful road (170km - 3.5 hours driving). Make several stop for taking pictures, enjoy rural scenery and observe the weaving techniques of a local village near Chisor. Arrive in Phnom Penh at around noon. Check in the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital situated at the confluence of the four arms of the Mekong. You’ll see the the National Museum, an unmissable introduction to Angkor and a superb example of Khmer architecture. Officially inaugurated in 1920, the Museum displays a range of sculptures dating from different periods of Cambodia’s history. Visit the Royal Palace built in1866 by King Norodom and comprising different structures grouped together in one enclosure. These house a remarkable collection of Khmer art. Here you’ll find the Silver Pagoda whose key works include a golden Buddha encrusted with 9584 diamonds and weighing 90kgs, and a Buddha featuring emeralds and Baccarat crystal dating from the 17th century. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel. Notes: + Visits to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda will be led by guides on site as our guides are not authorized to do so. + The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda are sometimes closed without notice for official ceremonies. Day 11 - Phnom Penh Sightseeing - Departure (B)
After breakfast, moving then to the south of the city, you’ll experience another period of Cambodian history: the regime of the Khmer Rouge. First a visit to Tuol Sleng, referred to as the genocide museum, a former secondary school which was transformed into a detention centre by the Khmer Rouge. The prison gate still bears its original school name, S21. Thousands of prisoners were detained here, tortured and killed. History continues then with a visit to the Killing Fields, Choeng Ek, 15km from Phnom Penh, the burial site for victims of Tuol Sleng. On your return to the city, if time still permits, experience a change of pace with a visit to the Russian Markets, known locally as Tuol Tumpoung, where you can stroll among all the stalls and vendors, trying your hand at bargaining. You’ll find here fabrics, jewels, jewellery, crockery, handicrafts… all kinds of goods. Afterward, transfer directly to airport for your departure flight. Room is at disposal until noon time. 1. What should I do if I want to book a tour but cannot pay immediately?

When watching tour on the websites, if you want to book a tour but cannot pay immediately, you can definitely book that tour in advance. We would record the tour on our system. Then we will contact you via email to discuss payment issues. And you need to pay in advance 30% of the invoice value to ensure that you will use our service.

2. How do I know that my booking is confirmed?

After you have booked our tour, there will be an automatic email sent to your email which you used to book your tour. It is a confirmation of our company to notify that the booking process have been successfully stored. Within 2 working days, our representative will make a conversation with you via email or telephone call. The itinerary along with detailed information about your tour will be specified during this process.

3. What if I have special requirements for the tour?

In our online booking form, there would be a blank box which is offered to the visitor, who has special needs. It so called Special Requirements. By filling this blank, you will be ensured that our company would try our best to make you the most comfortable days without worrying anything.

10. Can I make a reservation for my friends or my family members?

Yes, you can. If you are a person who pays for and participates in the tour, you won’t need to worry about this. In case you want to make a reservation for your friends or family members, you should follow our instruction. In other words, this means you pay for it but you don’t come along with the tour. In that case, we offer you a blank space which is “Customer information”. That is the name of a person who pays for the tour. Right below that space, there is “How can we contact you in Vietnam”. Please fill in the blank with any person that you intend to book a tour for.
